Our Mission

In April 2010, after years of praying, planning and fundraising, the members of Peachtree Baptist Church began construction on our new Family Life Center. This 5250 square foot building is a multi-purpose building that will be used for ministry, fellowship, and outreach in our community.
One of the most important features of the building is that it will be fully functional and usable as a shelter during inclement weather. Our area has suffered through severe thunderstorms, hurricanes, even ice storms. The building will have a laundry room, showers, and gas water heater and stove. All of these amenities were included so members of our church and community would have a place to go during these significant weather events.
We are committed to completing this project without taking out any loans. Proverbs 22:7 says, “The borrower is slave to the lender,” so we are counting on the generosity of our members, community, and anyone else who feels led to give, to complete this work 100% debt-free.
Please join us in praying for God’s blessing as we continue work on our FLC. Much of the work is being done by volunteers from our church, so please pray for their safety. Also, please pray for God’s financial blessing in this work. We want to use this space for work in His kingdom, so pray that he would provide the materials, equipment, workers, and money needed to complete it. And finally, pray for your involvement in this project. If you feel led to donate financially, you can click the link at the top of this page. It will take you to a secure site where you can donate directly to our building fund. If you wish to donate time or materials, please contact the church office. Any and all prayers and assistance are much appreciated.
